The Biblio Diet by Jordan Rubin and Dr. Josh Axe combines biblical principles with modern nutritional science to promote health and well-being. It offers practical advice, meal plans, and recipes, making it accessible for readers interested in a faith-based approach to nutrition. The Biblio Diet is a niche but timely book, designed to encourage and guide faith-driven readers toward a biblically inspired health regimen. Its bold claims and inviting motivational style and recipes provide a practical framework for those aligned with its perspective.

Dairy products made from A2 milk are explained in detail especially their digestibility. These products are not pasteurized which kills 140 enzymes. They also not homogenized which breaks down milks’ natural fat molecules and oxidizes them into a bad fats that are similar to the fats found in unhealthy seed oils. If you really what the best daily products, look for the characteristics in t original milk with these 7 qualities: organic, A2, raw/unpasteurized, non-homogenized, grass fed & pasture raised, cultured/fermented, whole. The book covers each of these in detail explaining why they make a big difference in your diet.

Raw unprocessed honey is your best choice since it contains fatty acids, bioflavonoids, bee pollen, propolis and is rich in enzymes that aids digestion. All these qualities provide antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiviral capabilities that stimulate the immune system and reduce inflammation.

The book contains a very special chapter on healing leaves with two important Biblical supports from Ezekiel 47:12 and Revelation 22:2, the leaves of the trees are described as having healing properties. These passages symbolize the restorative power of God’s presence, suggesting that the leaves provide healing for the nations and represent spiritual renewal and healing power for our bodies. These leaves that can be used in any combination to make a tea include Mulberry, Kiwi, Kaffir Lime, Grape Leaves, Oak, Guava, Moringa, and Fig Leaves. The author’s TOP FIVE LEAVES are Mango, Olive, Soursop, Raspberry, and Avocado.

Search for leaves for your health giving tea by foraging, local farms, online via Esty, eBay, Amazon or even Walmart.

FOODS that Promote Health & Reduce Cancer Risks

This food list is derived from scientific studies examined by Dr. Ralph Moss, a scientific writer, who plowed through 1000’s of studies and papers to arrive at these conclusions.

1. Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) Graza or Koronriki brands will not disappoint because of their extremely high poly-phenol content, which is the stuff that helps you live longer. Total poly-phenol content is the single most important fact to know about the healthfulness of any olive oil product.

2. Green Tea Green tea is recognized globally for its health-promoting qualities. It contains several powerful chemicals, a type of poly-phenol called catechins, the most abundant of which is epigallocatechin gallate, (EGCG). Matcha green tea has the highest level of EGCG. Trader Joes’s Organic Green Tea also tops the poly-phenol EGCG charts. 150 degrees F is the best temperature for brewing green tea so as NOT to destroy the EGCG. This potent ingredient plays a pivotal role at a cellular level in cancer prevention. EGCG blocks many metabolic pathways that can lead to cancer proliferation. Other sources for EGCG are berries, pomegranate, apples, grapes, pecans, and hazelnuts. For an extra 10 times more positive effect, consider adding a dollop of guajillo chili powder to your green tea. 12 ounces of green tea daily is a good starting place. EGCG is a Rock Star in the battle against cancers.

3. Turmeric/Curcumin If there is a panacea for human ills, turmeric/curcumin would be a contender. The reason for its broad usefulness is that curcumin fights against all forms of inflammation. Low level chronic inflammation causes several chronic diseases including cancers, arthritis, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and neurological diseases according to SC Gupta et al in his paper of 2018. Turmeric/curcumin has been shown to kill cancers through 8 metabolic pathways. Adding ground black pepper to turmeric increases it’s bio-availability by about 20 times.

4. Vitamin D3 from sunlight which is best, diet or supplements play a significant role in the processes that may prevent the development and the proliferation of cancers. It further reduces the metastatic potential of cancer cells and increases the immune system’s ability to detect and destroy cancers. 1000 to 2000 IUs daily is a good starting place. Higher doses may be considered when an active infection or cancer is present. Positive results suggest that early vitamin D supplementation could significantly improve outcomes for cancer patients receiving toxic chemotherapy. A test measuring in the 30 to 60 range is a good level to improve outcomes.

5. Cruciferous Vegetables and Sprouts produce powerful inexpensive nutrients that are easy to grow in a canning jar on a windowsill. Rinse once or twice a day and in 2 to 3 days you have a finished crop. Sprouts pack a nutrient punch with about 100 more times the active cancer fighting ingredients than the mature plants. Broccoli sprouts are particularly powerful against cancers and inflammation since they contain sulforaphane the most notable of their cancer fighting compounds. Radish sprouts contain sulforaphene which is distinct from sulforaphane in broccoli sprouts.

https://foodtolive.com/shop/organic-broccoli-seeds/ Eat sprouts fresh whenever possible.

6. Probiotics and Fermented Foods Yogurt, kefir, pickles, sauerkraut are all easily home made, plus cottage cheese, sour cream, kombucha and kimchi. Most nutritionists feel that a diversity of gut bacteria is the important thing rather than merely supplementing with a few pro-biotic species. Therefore, rotating the above items is a good idea since the gut is the incubator for the bio-diversity needed to empower a strong cancer killing immune system!

7. Quercetin is a powerful pigment (bio-flavonoid) found in fruits, vegetables, grains, and notably in apples, onions, berries and kale. Known for it’s antioxidant qualities, quercetin combats dangerous free radicals, supports heart health and provides anti-inflammatory benefits. Studies suggest that taking either gyokuro or matcha green tea (EGCG) with 800 mg of quercetin can increase the bio-availability of the quercetin 14 times. Adding extra virgin olive oil can also improve bio-availability. If you are on blood thinners, talk to your health care provider before using quercetin.

8. Omega 3 (NOT Omega 6) Fatty Acids (EPA DHA) are obtained from wild-caught salmon, mackerel, albacore tuna, cod, sardines and herring. Plant based sources are chia seeds, flax seeds and walnuts. Average daily intake of 250 to 500 mg with effectiveness based on the purity of the source and the body’s ability to absorb these fats 2 or 3 times a week.
A meta-analysis of 26 studies involving 900,000 participants, linked a 14% reduction in breast and colorectal cancers with an increased intake of omega 3’s. Most Americans consume too many omega-6s and not enough omega-3s. Researchers studying the link between omega 6 and inflammation recommend balancing the fatty acid ratio at 4 omega 6’s to 1 omega 3 for optimal health to keep you on the right track. The American diet is now averaging 15 omega 6’s to 1 omega 3. This imbalance leads to increased inflammation and potential cancers.

9. Citrus fruits, Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP) and Vitamin C have potent antioxidant properties shown to be an effective deterrent against a variety of cancers including breast, cervix, bone, brain, colon, pancreas, liver and stomach. The average vitamin C supplement dose is 500 mg to 1000 mg. Additional foods sources are citrus fruits, red bell peppers and brussel sprouts. Benefits are not just restricted to cancer. They bolster the immune system, trigger apoptosis, aid in the formation of collagen and increase the excretion of arsenic and heavy metals. Gut tolerance needs to be a guide for dosage. If diarrhea occurs, the dose should be reduced until the stool normalizes, then proceed slowly to increase to your tolerable level. The average Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP) daily dose is about 5 grams (5000 mg). Citrus pectin is also contained in the peel, seeds and pulp of citrus fruits.

10. Garlic with the active ingredient Allicin Useful in many types of cooking and in supplements of 600 to 1200 mg daily spread throughout the day. There are over 1000 papers on garlic with most of them done on allicin, the active ingredient. Combining garlic with onions and turmeric enhances each of these cancer fighting foods. Garlic can influence blood thinning so if you are on blood thinners, consult your health care provider. For prostate cancers, intake of garlic is linked to a 53% reduction and for scallions and if the greens are included, a 70% reduction.

11. Nuts, Seeds, Legumes and Whole Grains These include, almonds, walnuts, flax seeds, oats, barley, lentils. Studies show that they can control cell growth and aid in reducing various cancer types and other diseases from 15% all the way to 75%. Combining whole grains with legumes provides synergistic nutritional benefits.

12. Herbs and Spices Culinary spices & herbs contain poly-phenols and other antioxidants that contribute to an anti-inflammatory health promoting diet. Studies support strong cancer suppressing effects by incorporating (particularly parsley as a strong Apigenin source), sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano, cardamom and ginger into your daily diet, cooking and gardening. Many herbs can be grown throughout the year under lights indoors.

13. Maitake Mushrooms An assessments from Kodama in 2002 & 2003 stated “Cancer regression or significant improvement was observed in 58.3% of liver patients, 68.8% of breast cancer patients and 2.5% of lung cancer patients. The trial found less than 10% to 20% improvement for leukemia, stomach cancer and brain cancers.” (Kodama 2002)
“Maitake hindered metastatic progress, lessened levels of tumor markers, increased natural killer cells (NK) in all patients examined. As a results, it appears to repress cancer growth and primarily exerts its effect by stimulating natural killer cell activity.” (Kodama 2003)

14. Lycopene/Tomato contains anticancer, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory compounds. This benefits in reducing cancers known to be caused by free radicals and inflammation, (Aggarwal 2003, Goel 2008)
In supplement form, 10 to 120 mg daily have been suggested. Foods cooked incorporating lycopene from tomatoes and olive oil can improve the absorption of both.

15. Chick Peas (garbanzo beans) contain saponins, protease inhibitors and phytic acid.
Saponins have shown the ability to inhibit the reproduction of cancer cells and slow the growth of tumors. Protease Inhibitors slow the division of cancer cells and helped to prevent tumors from releasing substances called proteases that destroy nearby cells. Phytic Acid has shown the ability to significantly slow the progression of tumors. Chick peas offer many other benefits including fiber, vitamins and minerals and have the ability to block an important cancer metastasizing enzyme MMP-9.

16. Pasture/grass fed beef, pork, chicken & eggs

Synergistic Anti-Cancer Combinations

Increase Herb, Spice and Supplement Bio-Availability & Potency by using these Synergistic Anti-Cancer Combinations.

There are numerous herbal and spice combinations that increase the strength of each herb, spice or supplement employed. Listed below are synergistic groups that can be used together make each one more effective in the war against cancers. This because of the amazing number digestive enzymes and metabolic pathways that are working in your body.
https://sciencenotes.org/digestive-enzymes-chart-and-facts/

1. Apigenin from parsley and Curcumin in turmeric: These bind to tubulin, a protein in cancer cells & blocks their ability to reproduce. Tubulin is a protein that forms micro-tubules that are needed for cell structure, transport and division. This powerful combination disrupts tubulin formation and helps kill cancer cells.

2. Berberine and Silymarin: This combination has shown potential for improving lipid (fat) metabolism and enhancing liver health as in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

3. EGCG in Green Tea and Caffeine: In green tea this combination can improve fat burning and metabolism to aid in weight control which is often an issue in cancers.

4. Curcumin, EGCG from green tea and Resveratrol: This group attacks neck and head cancer cells more vigorously than separately suggesting their combination enhances their individual anticancer fighting abilities.

5. Curcumin and Ursolic Acid: Studies have found that there is a synergistic effect with curcumin and ursolic acid obtained in large part in apple peels.

6. EGCG, Resveratrol, and Vitamin E in Breast Cancer: This combo demonstrates how anti-oxidants work more effectively than individually in neutralizing cell damage from oxygen.

7. EGCG and Curcumin Against Cancers: Their combined effectiveness in Leukemia, breast and lung cancer shows how these plant chemicals interact at the molecular level to disrupt cancer cell reproduction.

8. EGCG and Red Guajillo Peppers: The addition of red pepper increases the anticancer activity of EGCG in green tea. This demonstrates the possibilities of combining teas with herbs or spices for increasing their healing effects.

9. EGCG and Sulforaphane: These provide a powerful antioxidant effect. They work together to decrease inflammatory processes by adjusting anti-inflammatory genes.

10. Garlic and Vitamin C: This combination has been studied for its potential to improve heart health by decreasing blood pressure and arterial stiffness.

11. Ginger and Turmeric: Since both are anti-inflammatory, they may offer real benefits in any area where inflammation is an issue as in arthritis.

12. Lycopene and Olive Oil: Olive oil improves the absorption of lycopene and is a good example of how dietary fats enhance the availability of certain plant nutrients.

13. Lycopene and Vitamin E: In tomatoes and nuts, respectively, these work together to improve prostrate health, showing the potential of dietary elements working together.

14. Omega-3 fatty Acids and Curcumin in Cancer Cell Apoptosis: Their combined effect dramatically increases programmed death or apoptosis again showing the potential of dietary ingredients to work together in disrupting cancer cell survival.

15. Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Poly-phenols: Found in fatty fish and their oils and certain plant based foods like extra virgin olive oil, these compounds work together to reduce inflammation and cell damage from oxygen aiding in heart health and brain function.

16. Probiotics and Prebiotics: This combo is known as Symbiotic. They combine to improve gut health by enhancing the survival and effectiveness of good gut bacteria that need that fiber and food to feed their growth. Most of the immune system originates in the gut.

17. Quercetin and Curcumin Against Cancer Cell Reproduction: Their cooperative blocking of cancer cell growth suggests an interaction that disrupts key growth networks in cancer cells.

18. Quercetin and EGCG in Prostrate Cancer: Together they stop cancer cells traits, invasion, and migration, indicating a cooperative effect on key networks involved in cancer’s growth.

19. Quercetin and Resveratrol in Cancer Prevention: This combination boosts each other’s anticancer effects, showing a potential for enhanced effectiveness in cancer prevention strategies.

20. Red Yeast Rice and an Asian Mushroom: The Taiwanese mushroom, Antrodia Cinnamomea, powerfully synergies with red yeast rice against aggressive prostrate cancer cells.

21. Resveratrol and Curcumin in Anti-Inflation Responses: Their interaction enhances anti-inflammatory effects, which could be crucial in preventing inflammation related cancers.

22. Soy Isoflavones and Curcumin in Prostate Health: Compounds like genistein suppress prostrate-specific antigen (PSA) production in prostrate cells suggesting a cooperative effect on prostate cancer prevention.

23. Sulforaphane and Soy Isoflavones in Breast Cancer: Their synergy is a powerful example of how combining plant chemicals can lead to more effective anticancer strategies than when used alone. This combination was nearly three times more effective than expected for additive effects, illustrating the power of cooperative interactions in improving anticancer effectiveness.

24. Sulforaphane and Maitake Mushrooms Extract:

25. Sulforaphane, Quercetin and Green Tea Extract: These 3 have a super-additive effects on pancreatic cancer cells.

26. Turmeric and Black Pepper: Piperine in black pepper enhances the absorption of curcumin from the turmeric. This classic combo perfectly illustrates how certain combinations can improve nutrient uptake and bio-availability.

27. Vitamin D3 and Calcium in Bone Health: Research suggests that combining D3 & calcium is move effective in promoting health and preventing osteoporosis than either nutrient alone.
